BACK YARDS
North Side: Thaw House
The landlord of this multi-dwelling home on the north side of Pittsburgh renovated the entire inside leaving all of the beautiful original trim, fire places and character of the historic home. This year it was time to tackle the outside to provide a communal tenant space for grilling, gathering and improve the aesthetics. Renters park in the back of the house and essentially the back yard is what welcomes them home. Revisit this site next year to see spring and summer pictures. One of the residents loves to garden and once we had the bones in place she fills in with annuals and perennials.
